"Le dessin dansé" Project
2005 / 2006

Creation of dance piece "le dessin dansé", in collaboration with italian dancer Irene SPOSETTI.

Improvisation dance piece, designed to relate painting and dance. Started as a commission from Àrea dance school, in Barcelona.

The versatile format ot this piece, makes it easily adaptable to many diverse environments.

Initially thought to being interpreted by a single dancer, incorporating another dancer, as Kastura Kan, butoh master, provides the piece bigger depth and wider contrast.

"Ríos de Luz" Project. "Rivers of light".
(work in progress)

"Ríos de luz" ("Rivers of light") Project:

Interbeing is a concept of unity, of existing with the other.

We usually associate the water flow of rivers with the events flow of our own lives. River of light is for me a metaphor of our existence, and I want to show the never ending connection of our individual existences with other beings existence, in a form of a visual mantra.

Original idea of "Rivers of Light" performance, and video script.

Video "Rivers of light":
Loop.

Two differently coloured rivers of light are tracing a sinuous path, while flowing in oppossed directions. They shine brightly. A seated figure on each river of light, bends to fetch with both hands a bit of water, and delicately turns to settle it on her own river. Both figures sincronize their movements in a smooth flow.

They repeat this circular movement on and on.
